The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is a highly competitive
national-level entrance exam for students seeking admission to
undergraduate engineering programs at various prestigious institutions
in India. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), JEE Main
serves as the gateway to some of the most renowned engineering colleges,
including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National
Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other centrally funded technical
institutes (CFTIs). The JEE Main consists of two papers: Paper 1 (for
B.E./B.Tech) 1 is a computer-based test (CBT- online) with
multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical-based questions and Paper
2 (for B.Arch/B.Planning) is a pen-and-paper(offline) exam with three
sections: Mathematics, Aptitude, and Drawing.

2,50,000 students from the JEE Main will qualify to appear for the
JEE
Advanced. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced is the
second
stage of the entrance examination process for admission to the
prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Both
Paper 1 and
Paper 2 are conducted in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.
