Ayurveda courses are educational programs that teach the principles and practices of Ayurveda, which is a traditional system of medicine originating in India. Ayurveda courses typically cover a range of topics related to Ayurvedic philosophy, anatomy, physiology, diagnosis, treatment methods, herbal medicine, nutrition, yoga, meditation, and lifestyle recommendations. To be eligible for Ayurveda courses, candidates must make sure that they pass Class 12 with Science stream (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) or Class 10 with Sanskrit and Pre-Ayurvedic Certificate Course. Generally, admission to Ayurveda courses is based on NEET scores, however, some universities also allow direct admission. The average Ayurveda course fees range between INR 20,000 and INR 29 Lakh. Popular colleges offering Ayurveda courses are the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences, LPU, Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, etc.
